House & Garden add two new pieces of furniture to their collection with Arlo & Jacob.
Last year, in a deal brokered and developed by Talisman, House & Garden launched its debut collection of furniture in collaboration with British makers Arlo & Jacob.
The range has now been expanded to include two stunning pieces new for 2018.
New to the range is the ‘Jackson’ family, a sophisticated and ultra-comfortable design whose heavy loose linen covers were inspired by Belgian interiors. ‘The Jackson is quite minimal in a way,’ says Gabby. ‘It would work beautifully in a paired back space, although equally you could cover it with patterned cushions. I think that’s the beauty of the pieces. They have been designed to work in any kind of interior.’ As well as a straight forward sofa, the Jackson also comes as an L-shaped sofa, an armchair, or a chaise.
The second piece is the ‘Stella’ armchair, with sleek lines inspired by 1950’s Danish design, and rolled back and arms taken from a classic English club chair. ‘These styles combine to create a look that feels totally fresh and perfectly modern. You could have a pair at the end of a bed, or pile them round a dining table.’
